About the academy

The academy's social responsibility

Governance Academy believes training institutions have an important part to play in community development and in building human capital. Through its community initiatives it works to spread knowledge and professional awareness, and to help individuals develop the skills and abilities that let them serve their community.

The academy has delivered, and continues to deliver, community initiatives and programmes for different groups - including young people, graduates and professionals - through workshops and awareness training, participation in development initiatives, and support for initiatives that build professional capability and a culture of continuous learning.

The academy also builds partnerships with government bodies, educational institutions and the non-profit sector to deliver programmes and initiatives with a positive, lasting impact on society, and to widen opportunities for professional development and empowerment.
